How to Store a Window Cleaning Robot

Retrieve, power down and disconnect the robot, then follow its after-use and long-storage instructions. Clean and fully dry removable pads, manage remaining fluid exactly as directed, wipe approved surfaces and inspect every safety and power component. Safe diagnostic order

End the last session completely

Use the documented retrieval and shutdown order, then disconnect approved power equipment. Do not pack a robot that is warm, wet or carrying a dirty cloth. Inspect the housing and underside for residue without spraying liquid into openings. If the unit was exposed to condensation, a spill or unexpected rain, follow official drying or service guidance rather than placing it in a closed case. Keep moisture out of the pad system

Never leave a homemade mixture in the system or flush it with an unapproved chemical. Wipe spills and inspect the cap and seal. Protect fluid from children, pets and temperature extremes, retaining its original labeled container. If the robot could be exposed to freezing conditions, do not guess that an empty-looking tank means all internal passages are safe.

Protect cords and safety equipment

Coil cords in broad loops without tight bends, knots or pressure on connector joints. Keep caps and locks clean and prevent heavy objects from crushing adapters or stations. Inspect the rope, carabiner and anchor components, and label any damaged part so it cannot be reused accidentally. Store all exact accessories and the manual together. This reduces the chance that a future user reaches for a similar-looking but unapproved adapter, cloth or restraint.

Return from storage as a recommissioning

Before the next use, repeat the full safety inspection and the manufacturer's power or backup-system preparation. Check for corrosion, pest damage, moisture, swelling, cable stiffness, pad distortion and changed app or support requirements. Test startup on a low reachable compatible pane with the required restraint. A robot that worked before storage is not automatically ready for elevated glass months later.
